A Fireplace Can Be More Than Just A Heat Source
A fireplace is a focal point that can add light, warmth and ambiance to any room to really create that cosy and warm feel good factor that appeals to most people. Having a separate heat source in each room also eliminates the complications of modern day technology and there is nothing simpler than putting another log on the fire or allowing a fire to burn itself out when there is no one there to benefit from the warmth.
If you’re lucky enough to have a fireplace to cosy up in front of, firewood can be both an economical and rewarding source of heating fuel.
Imagine the days have grown shorter and the evenings have started to draw in. We’ve just had our first autumn frost, the leaves have started to change colour and are only just beginning to fall. There's a chill in the air, you've just come back from a long walk and now you're sitting back with a mug of hot chocolate. Wouldn't it be cosy to curl up in front of a warm, glowing open fire and watch the flames dance across the logs slowly turning them golden amber. There aren't many more things as relaxing.
